A look at USB network adapters

The Linksys Compact USB 2.0 10/100 Network Adapter
This network adapter resembles a USB key drive, which is very small. This allows you to connect your computer to an existing network, without having to open your computer to install the card.
Also available is the Wireless version of this adapter. The Linksys Wireless Compact USB Adapter
This adapter will allow a computer to connect to an existing wireless network that is within range. This will allow you to take a laptop to a coffee shop and plug in the wireless adapter to pull up the latest business news, and unplug the adapter and take it to another computer and allow them to check on the latest news items of the day.
