IPOD Accessories Reign king at 2006 CES even without Apple.

The 2006 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas was a flury of vendors showing off their top selling products as well as their new product lines for 2006.
The most of the consumer electronics heavyweights were in Las Vegas in early January hoping to wow the public and wholesalers with their latest technology gadgets. One notable exception was Apple.
Apple declined to attend the 2006 CES and instead pushed its products at the Macworld conference, but that didn't stop the dozens of other vendors with accessories for the hottest selling portable media player on earth.
Without a doubt the dominance of the Ipod in the portable consumer electronics industry was flexing its' muscles. Vendor after vendor was showing off their Ipod accessories, from cases, battery extenders, external speakers, home stereo interfaces, wireless add ons, car audio, and much more.
