Why Buy MLM Leads?
By: Don Reid
My name is Don Reid, I operate a lead generation and MLM leads supply company called http://www.ApacheLeads.com so obviously I have a vested interest in you buying leads, especially if you buy them from me :) That doesn't necessarily mean that my advice is not good. Let me explain. I've been in the leads business for over 6 years and sure there are people that have been in it longer and that have sold more than the millions of leads I have sold but, not many. Not many people have built an MLM business successfully and gone on to build a successful leads company. I see people come and go all the time in MLM, I estimate most people stay in MLM for 3 months and then their dream is smashed due to lack of sponsoring and they go back to whatever they were doing before they were sponsored. Why does this happen? Why don't more people make it in MLM? Why it happens is most people do not buy leads and those that do, either don't call them or they call them very badly. Those that do not buy leads soon run through the list of people they know and give up sponsoring because they sure aren't going to cold call people. Those that do buy leads often have no clue on how to call a prospect on the phone. So they either simply do not call them and tell everyone the leads they bought were no good or they do call a few of them and do it so badly they quit calling..and..you guessed it, tell everyone the leads they bought were no good. This is how leads companies get a bad name. OK, some leads companies may deserve a bad name but most do not. Most lead companies want to keep you happy and satisfied as a client so that you will spread the good word and bring them more business. It just makes sense for the legitimate lead supplier to want you to be successful and happy. Some sponsors, uplines and companies give pretty good training but not that many. Those that I see do the best mostly get trained by specialists. I'm not going to mention any names here because you can easily search for them yourself. If any of them gave me a link back I would be happy to promote them. As far as I can tell the training certainly pays off. It pays off in a few ways. The MLM'er is confident enough to correctly and enthusiastically contact the leads and is very likely going to sponsor some people. This of course, holds them in your downline much longer and causes excitement and can even begin giving your business MOMENTUM! Yes the holy grail of network marketing..momentum. To be successful and to reach new pin levels you definitely need to get a handful of momentum. The things that cause it are people being sponsored into your business and not just by you. So, if you have not been professionally trained in how to call leads then it might be something you could consider. You really should at least go upline until you find someone that will help you get confident and enthusiastic about calling leads. Once you know how, you can easily hold some training sessions for your group where you train them. You show them how to make some calls and then you give each person a go at making a call in front of everyone else. It's real hard for anyone to say no and it makes them feel fantastic when they do it. It's ok to use older leads for these sessions or ''Aged Leads'' as I call them. They are pretty inexpensive and can be surprisingly good. Once these people make a few calls and work the kinks out of their stumbling bumbling script reading call, they begin to get quite good at it and begin to get meetings and begin to sponsor people. Guess what you can make happen then? You can have each of these people, that were once in your training group, duplicate you and run their own call training sessions. You see how the momentum will get started? This is why you need to buy leads; it's to get the momentum going. If you do not buy leads and make good use of those leads then you are risking failure in network marketing. The simple fact is, no matter what you do or don't do, you're downline will duplicate you. So if you want them to buy leads, call the leads and sponsor the leads, then the only way that is going to happen is for you to do exactly the same. In multi level marketing it's easy to get your group to do what you want them to do, you just have to do it first and be a leader.
